Breedon Cement Hope Golf Day 2018

A successful day at the Breedon Cement Hope gold day raising money for Challenge Derbyshire – 36 golfers took part in the event and raised just over £3,000 for this amazing charity which combines support for Ashgate Hospice, Helen’s Trust and Blythe House Hospice.

We also had the fantastic James Whatley on hand again from Morley Hays Golf Course, offering a clinic to the players in the morning and some challenging fun on the course during the day.

Ashgate Hospice

An independent charity (no. 700636) that provides care to patients with a life-limiting illness across North Derbyshire. The Day Hospice cares for up to 16 patients per day, four days a week, as well as a 21 bed inpatient Unit providing 24/7 care and a range of therapy and support services on site.
Their specialist teams make thousands of visits every year to patients in their own homes.

Helen’s Trust

Their Hospice at Home services enables patients with advanced illness to be cared for, and to die at home if that is their wish.
